needed repairs were excavated. It took a long time for EBMUD to schedule their inspection of the work. Fortu nately, the first and second sets passed inspection and the third is currently being completed. Phase Two will begin sometime next year. Have a great summer! Centre Court by Amanda Meng, Association Manager G REETINGS, NEIGHBORS! WITH SUMMER IN FULL swing, our community is buzzing with excitement and warmth. Picture this: the cheerful melody of an ice cream truck echoing through our streets, bringing smiles to young and old alike. Let's gather under the shade of our trees, enjoying cool treats and each other's company as we create memories to last a lifetime. From impromptu picnics to evening strolls, let's embrace the simple pleasures of the season and celebrate the bonds that unite us. Here's to a summer filled with sweet moments and the shared joy of living in our wonderful HOA! Stay tuned for some new trees around the neighborhood. Volunteer committees are working hard to finalize decisions about this project. We are excited to add to our already beautiful landscape! A friendly reminder to all residents to pick up after their pets and be mindful of other resident’s landscaping. Dog urine kills plants and is unpleasant for gardeners. And never leave pet food outside as it will attract pests of all kinds. Racoons, rats, skunks and ants all love a free meal. Centre Court meets every second Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. Summer meeting dates are scheduled July 10th, August 14th, and September 11th this year. These scheduled times are subject to change. Check the calendar at harborbay.org/calendar for the most current meeting dates, times, agendas and other information related to the meetings. Monthly Board of Directors meetings are still available in hybrid format, meaning that homeowners have the option of attending meetings in-person at the community center, 3195 Mecartney Road or attending meetings remotely via RingCentral. We encourage all homeowners to attend our Centre Court monthly Board of Directors meetings to stay up-to-date on current events.

TRAFFIC SAFETY Plans are in place to install flashing lights at several intersections on Mecartney. We plan to work with the CHBIOA Board and City of Alameda to construct similar crossing lights on Robert Davey. CRIME IN OUR AREA Security signs – Clipper Cove has installed signs at our Channing and Basinside entries stating, “NOTICE: This Community patrolled by Security 24/7.” The signs are intended to be deterrents, however, our residents are the eyes and ears that help keep our community safe. Please report anything suspicious to both our own Security Department AND the Alameda Police Department. Do not attempt to confront a suspect. APD will assign additional personnel to our neighborhoods only if they are aware of a need to do so. Board President, Steve Atkinson, covers 2023 highlights at the Clipper Cove Annual Homeowners’ Meeting on May 14th.
