AssociationNews Baywood Village by Diana Torres, Association Manager A S WE BEGIN A NEW YEAR IN OUR COMMUNITY, we would like to extend a warm welcome to the 2026 Baywood Village Board of Directors. Serving on the Board is an important responsibility, and we appreciate the time, dedication, and effort these volunteers are committing to support and improve our neighborhood. MEET YOUR BOARD MEMBERS Sunny Tsou has served as President since 2024 and is an attorney specializing in utilities and environmental law. He is passionate about public service and hopes to continue to utilize both his professional and personal skills to serve the community. His goal as a Director is to ensure that Baywood Village remains a safe, comfortable, and appealing community. Ramona Malata has served as Vice President since 2024 and brings a background in healthcare/business administration and working with multidisciplinary team members. Her goals have always been new change, solving problems, and bringing opportunity. She continues to be excited to serve on the Baywood Board of Directors and is looking forward to working harmoniously with other board members, volunteers, and the management team to make Baywood Village a great place to live in continuously. Barbara Cassens serves as Treasurer and is new to the Baywood Village Board of Directors, though she has lived in the Harbor Bay Isle community since 1997. Her distinguished 45-year career as a scientist, manager, investigator, and director with the U.S. FDA brings valuable experience that will help ensure Baywood Village continues to maintain and enhance its community environment. Marianne Sham serves as Secretary and is new to the Baywood Village Board of Directors, though she has lived in the community since 2019. Her background in public health, earth science, and forensic science has been invaluable during her two years of service on the Baywood Landscape Committee. The 2026 Board will be working on important initiatives and continuing ongoing efforts to improve the quality of

life for all homeowners. We encourage all homeowners to support the new Board by staying informed, attending meetings when possible, and sharing constructive ideas. A strong community is built through cooperation and open communication between homeowners and Board members. Please join us in welcoming the 2026 Baywood Village Board of Directors and wishing them a successful and productive year ahead. Together, we can continue to make our community a place we are proud to call home. Brittany Landing Bay by Sandy Olsen A STANDING “O” IS IN ORDER FOR MARIAN BREITBART as she retires from our Board of Directors, having served for a recent 12 consecutive years (and 20 years overall)! She brought expertise to our financial challenges (as a UPenn Wharton School MBA graduate) as well as a commitment to maintaining our infrastructure and enhancing our attractive living environment. Well done, Marian! If you see Marian out and about as she gets in her thousands of daily steps, please say “Hi” and “Thanks.” Speaking of service to our community, two of our youngsters, Liam and Sophie, recently helped Landscape Committee members find a leak in our irrigation system on Oak Park. Liam said he was a “good investigator,” and they promptly located the leak. Thanks, kids! Well done! NEW ASSOCIATION MANAGER BLB welcomes Shenandoah Lush as our new Association Manager. She previously assisted our former manager, Nicelle Delos Reyes, for several months. She can be reached at 510-865-3363, ext. 354, or by email at BLB@harborbay.org. We wish to thank Nicelle for her outstanding service to BLB and wish her well in her transfer to the Architectural Department. UPCOMING PROJECTS The Board has approved a major resurfacing project for the pool and has selected a vendor to complete the work. New perimeter tiles will update the surfaces after 40 years. The process began with review of the scope of the project and interviews with bidders. In November, the Board selected a vendor for the pool resurfacing project,
