Woodbridge by Diana Torres, Association Manager O ne of the many things that makes Woodbridge Bay Estates such a wonderful place to live is the care and respect our neighbors show for one another. To help keep our community running smoothly, we’d like to share a few friendly reminders and updates. As many of you know, parking can sometimes be limited in certain areas of our neighborhood. To help ease congestion and ensure everyone has fair access to available spaces, we ask homeowners to please: • Use Driveways Whenever Possible: If you have a driveway, we kindly encourage you to make this your primary parking space. This helps free up street parking for visitors and neighbors who may not have the same option. • Consider Vehicle Use: If you own cars that are not used regularly, we ask that you park them in areas where there are more open spaces available, rather than on the more crowded streets. • Keep Vehicles in Compliance: All vehicles parked within the community should be properly registered and in good standing. This ensures safety, fairness, and a neat appearance throughout our neighborhood. We understand that many households have multiple vehicles, and we truly appreciate everyone’s cooperation in helping manage parking thoughtfully. In addition to these reminders, the City of Alameda will soon begin its Pavement Management Project, which includes street resurfacing in our area. All homeowners should be receiving a letter from the City of Alameda with details about the project, including schedules, impacted streets, and important instructions. Please take a few minutes to review the letter so you can plan ahead for any temporary parking or access changes. By working together, we can make sure Woodbridge Bay Estates remains a convenient and enjoyable place for all residents. Thank you for your continued consideration and community spirit. Small efforts from each of us go a long way in keeping Woodbridge Bay Estates a beautiful and welcoming place to call home!

at least one day. Advance notice will be provided to all homeowners. NEW ROOFING GUIDELINES The Seastrand Board has approved an amendment to the Architectural Guidelines regarding Gutters and Roofs. Fiberglass-Asphalt composition shingles or Polymer Tile shakes will be recommended instead of Wood shingles. This is due to the increased fire resistance of composition/ polymer shingles and insurance issues regarding wood shingles. Please review the new guidelines prior to submitting architectural applications for reroofing your home. MAILBOXES There are several Seastrand mailboxes and posts that are in need of repair for replacement. These are maintained by the Association and must match what exists. As an incentive, the Seastrand HOA will reimburse homeowners for the replacement of the mailbox (numbers included) and/or the mailbox post. Going forward, homeowners will receive courtesy letters if their mailboxes need repair. Homeowners should contact our Association Manager, Diana Torres, for details; SEA@harborbay.org. TRAFFIC SAFETY Sea View Parkway has become Sea View “Speedway”. There is not one stop sign anywhere along the full length of Sea View Parkway, and nine marked crosswalks. Drivers take full advantage at speeds well above the residential limit of 25mph, disregarding pedestrians, children on bikes, and elderly folks using the major crosswalks that provide access to the shoreline and park. As a recent example, this past June a reckless driver took out the light pole at Brunswick/Sea View and a Seastrand homeowner’s mailbox. The Board has contacted the City numerous times requesting to install speed bumps along Sea View. We would appreciate your support by expressing your opinion to the Alameda City Public Works Department citing a Street Safety Concern ( Alameda>Pub licWorks>SaferStreets ). As always, if you have questions regarding architectural, landscaping or community matters contact any of the Board members, or Diana Torres, Seastrand Associaiton Manager, SEA@harborbay.org. Have a great rest of the year! Best regards, Rick, Ron, Bill, Benn, Gabe, and Diana.
