The Gull's Call - Oct/Nov/Dec 2024

AssociationNews Bayview Harbor by Andrea Godoy, Association Manager E NSURING THE SAFETY AND ATTRACTIVENESS OF OUR community streets is a priority for the association. One key aspect of this is adhering to appropriate speed limits on our roads. Speeding can significantly impact safety, making it difficult for drivers to navigate and increasing the risk of accidents. We urge all residents to drive responsibly and adhere to speed limits to maintain a safe environment for everyone. In addition to safety, the condition of your lawn plays a crucial role in upholding property values and enhancing the overall appearance of our neighborhood. Well maintained lawns contribute to clear and appealing street views, which benefit all residents. Unfortunately, we have noticed that some bushes and landscaping are overgrowing, obstructing views and making it challenging for vehicles to exit the neighborhood safely. We encourage all homeowners to keep their lawns and landscaping in good condition to ensure a tidy and welcoming community. On a more festive note, the Board is excited about the prospect of establishing a summer picnic as a new Bayview Harbor tradition. We are actively seeking volunteers to help plan and set up this enjoyable event. If you have ideas for games, activities, or other aspects of the summer get-together, we would love to hear from you. Please reach out to your association manager at BVH@Harborbay.org to get involved and contribute to making this event a success for next year. In the meantime, we wish you all a happy end of year and happy holidays! Thank you for your cooperation and involvement in keeping our community safe and beautiful.

E ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THE commencement of Phase 2 of the private sewer lateral project. This crucial phase

involves work in various areas that will be ongoing for the next few weeks. Homeowners are urged to check their mail regularly, as important notices containing detailed information about affected areas and work schedules are being sent out. These notices will also outline specific instructions for parking and will serve as temporary parking passes for those affected by the Phase 2 work. Please be aware that cul-de-sacs will be inaccessible during this time. We kindly ask that you make arrangements to relocate your vehicles when the dates are provided to avoid any inconvenience. We greatly appreciate your patience and cooperation as this project progresses. Your understanding is essential for minimizing disruptions and ensuring the success of this important work. In addition, parking permits for the upcoming year will be issued in the next couple of months. As part of this process, we will be conducting annual garage inspections to ensure compliance with parking regulations. It is important to remember that garages must be able to accommodate two vehicles to meet permit requirements. Please be aware that parking permits may be granted to owners of larger vehicles that do not fit in their garages. Each situation is assessed individually. If a garage is not clear, you do not fall under a hardship exception, a permit will not be issued. Thank you for your attention to these matters and for your continued cooperation.
