In 2009, CHBIOA started its “Going Green” program. The program gives homeowners the option of receiving com munications via email, thus saving the Community (and you as homeowners) thousands of dollars a year in postage, paper, and trees. You can opt in for email notification using the Member Information Update Form (2-sided) which is sent out twice yearly, in your budget and audit disclosure packages. A new form indicating your election for email correspondence must be received every year; otherwise, the selection will revert back to hard copy “snail mail” only. Please note that the selection is either email or hard copy, not both. Homeowners who register for email notifications are automatically included on the Community’s Emergency Email Notification list, which include but are not limited to shelter-in-place warnings and security alerts. CHBIOA does not share your information with third parties. Please contact the Community Office at 510-865-3363 with any questions.
