The Gull's Call - Jan/Feb/Mar 2025

AssociationNews Bay Isle Pointe by Andrea Godoy, Association Manager B AY ISLE POINTE IS TAKING SIGNIFICANT STEPS TO enhance the safety and beauty of our neighborhood with two essential projects: seasonal tree pruning and a major upgrade to our community’s lighting system. These initiatives reflect our commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all residents. IMPORTANCE OF TREE PRUNING BEFORE THE WINDY SEASON November marked the beginning of tree pruning throughout Bay Isle Pointe. This proactive approach was critical as the winter months bring stronger winds and unpredictable weather, increasing the risk of falling branches. By addressing overgrown or weakened branches now, the association is working to: • Prevent property damage: Removing potentially hazardous limbs minimizes the risk of them falling onto homes, vehicles, or other structures during storms. • Enhance pedestrian safety: Pruned trees reduce the chance of debris falling onto sidewalks and common areas, ensuring safe passage for residents and visitors. • Promote healthy tree growth: Strategic pruning not only improves safety but also supports the overall health and longevity of our trees, keeping Bay Isle Pointe’s natural beauty intact. We appreciate your patience as these efforts continue across the community. A BRIGHTER BAY ISLE POINTE: UPGRADED LIGHTING AND POLES In addition to the tree maintenance, Bay Isle Pointe is rolling out a long-awaited upgrade to our lighting system. New, energy-efficient lighting fixtures and poles are being installed throughout the neighborhood. This enhancement is designed with safety and convenience in mind. There will be signage posted as the work starts.

• Improved safety for all hours: Whether you’re walking your dog in the early morning or returning home late in the evening, the updated lighting will make navigating the community safer and more comfortable. • Modern and durable design: The upgraded poles and fixtures are not only functional but also add a fresh, contemporary aesthetic to our neighborhood. A COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY SAFETY Both of these projects are rooted in our ongoing commitment to the safety and satisfaction of Bay Isle Pointe residents. By tackling tree pruning before the windy season and investing in new lighting infrastructure, we’re taking tangible steps to create a secure, well maintained environment. Thank you for your support as we complete these improvements. We’re excited to see the positive impact they’ll have on our community!
