LANDSCAPING UPDATES: ADAPTING TO NEW DROUGHT RESTRICTIONS In addition to celebrating our summer success, we’d like to update you on a significant change coming to Bayview Harbor: new landscaping adjustments in response to East Bay Municipal Utility District’s (EBMUD) restrictions. To align with water conservation efforts, the association is converting non-functional grass areas to drought-tolerant landscaping. This shift is a necessary step to promote sustainable water use while maintaining the beauty of our community. Here’s what you can expect: • Drought-tolerant plantings: New landscaping will feature native plants and water-efficient greenery that thrive in our climate. • Enhanced design: The new plans are designed to be both environmentally friendly and visually appealing, ensuring Bayview Harbor remains a beautiful place to live. • Reduced water usage: By replacing non-functional grass, we’ll significantly cut down on water consumption, supporting conservation efforts and complying with regional regulations. We appreciate your understanding and support as we implement these changes to ensure Bayview Harbor remains an environmentally responsible and aesthetically pleasing community. Thank you for your ongoing support and participation in making Bayview Harbor a wonderful place to call home! If you have any questions about the landscaping changes or suggestions for future community events, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your association manager at BVH@harborbay.org. Baywood Village by Andrea Godoy, Association Manager A THANK YOU TO OUR HOMEOWNERS: UPDATES AND REMINDERS T HE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND MANAGEMENT would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all homeowners for your patience and understanding as we work through the mandated Private Sewer Lateral (PSL) project. This critical initiative ensures compliance

with local regulations and protects the long-term infrastructure of our community. While the project has required significant time and resources, we’re confident it will benefit Baywood Village in the years to come. The Board is pleased to share that the 2025 budget has been carefully planned to accommodate other important projects that need completion throughout the association. We appreciate your continued support as we work to enhance and maintain the quality of our community. The 2025 parking pass applications have been sent via mail to all homeowners. Please ensure you received your application and follow the parking guidelines outlined by the association. If you have any questions, or did not receive your application, feel free to contact the office for assistance. As a reminder, annual garage inspections are required for compliance. To ensure a smooth process and adherence to the rules: • Two vehicles per garage: Homeowners must park two vehicles in the garage unless there is a documented medical condition or an oversized vehicle that prevents this. • No storage use: Garages may not be used for storage. This continues to be a significant issue, and non-compliance will result in denial of your parking pass. We kindly ask all homeowners to prepare for this inspection by ensuring your garage meets the outlined criteria. These rules are in place to maximize parking availability and maintain the functionality of our shared spaces. We understand these requirements and ongoing projects may present challenges, and we sincerely appreciate your cooperation! Should you have any questions or concerns about the PSL project, parking passes, or garage inspections, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the association office at BWV@Harborbay.org
