Harbor Pointe by Luci Ackhart I ’M BAAAACK! AND TAKING OVER WRITING OUR column for Randi Carlson Hinkle who did a marvelous job conveying the pertinent news about Harbor Pointe. Thanks for volunteering your time and writing know-how, Randi! A WONDERFUL DAY FOR OUR ANNUAL PICNIC Our annual Harbor Pointe picnic was held on Sunday, August 2nd, and, while the turnout was smaller than last year, we all managed to enjoy the company, food and absolutely gorgeous day! Among the donated door prizes were a homemade chocolate fudge cake (which was shared by the winners), a red, white and blue centerpiece, a gift certificate to the Marketplace in Alameda, plus

Benjamin Moore’s ‘Land of Liberty’ will be used for this year’s trim repainting project which is scheduled to begin in September. More information will be posted on our mail kiosks, so let’s hope the weather is with us! HARBOR POINTE NEEDS YOU! Please remember that our board needs volunteers as we will be losing one member who has proved himself invaluable. John Wells will be moving to another association within Harbor Bay, so will be resigning. If we don’t have a quorum of three out of five members, no meeting can be conducted, no decisions can be made about the upkeep of Harbor Pointe can be made. We meet every other month on the last Thursday at 6:30 PM. Our annual meeting will be held in March and candidate forms will be sent out in January. Your time is important to ensuring our beautiful homes remain that way.
