once again having the opportunity to serve a community that has always meant so much to me. Coming back feels especially meaningful because Harbor Bay is where I developed such a strong appreciation
on August 4th, 2026, the promotion of Officer Jessica Olivo to Sergeant. “Over the last two and a half years, Sergeant Olivo has displayed a great work ethic, team leadership, accountability, adaptability, visionary and decisive thinking, and proactiveness,” comments
for community management and for the importance of building genuine relationships with residents, Board members, vendors, and colleagues. The culture here has always been rooted in community, collaboration, and a shared commitment to making Harbor Bay a wonderful place to live, and I am grateful to be returning to that environment. Since my time at Harbor Bay, I have had the opportunity to grow tremendously as a community management professional. I have managed a variety of complex communities, worked through challenging operational and capital projects, strengthened my experience with Board governance and financial management, and learned how important thoughtful communication and strong relationships are to successful community management. I am excited to bring everything I have learned back with me while continuing to grow alongside the Harbor Bay team. There is also something especially meaningful about returning to a community that is closer to home. Being able to work closer to where I live allows me to feel more connected to the community I serve and gives me the opportunity to be even more present, accessible, and engaged in my role. Most of all, I am excited to reconnect with familiar faces, build relationships with those I have not yet had the opportunity to meet, and contribute to the culture and sense of community that make Harbor Bay so unique. It truly feels like coming home, and I am very grateful for the opportunity to be back.
Director Silva. “Demonstration of these supervisory traits time and again put her in a position for promotional consideration.” “I am excited and humbled by this promotion to Sergeant,” says Sgt. Olivo. “My sincere gratitude goes to the leadership of the Security Department and Executive Director Dawn Jaeger for granting me this opportunity to build a better career for myself in Private Security.” She added “I would also like to acknowledge the team of officers that I work with and appreciate any trust given moving forward. I will do my best to lead the team in a safe and successful path to achieve all goals established without our department and the company.” Congratulations Sergeant Olivo!
