FROM OLIVIA CORTEZ "Leaving a great work place with great people and a beautiful place to walk is not easy. I have learned so much and have made great work partnerships. However, sometimes life takes us in different directions. I am excited to announce that I’ve purchased a new home and will be relocating. I’ve enjoyed my time here and will forever cherish the friendships and memories I’ve made. I look forward to my family’s relocation and new beginnings. I’d like to thank the community and my work family for trusting in me to manage six associations. A big thank you to Executive Director, Dawn Jaeger, for all her support while I worked on getting my CCAM certificate and for the fires she helped me put out. Her flexibility and understanding of family life and of a working parent has never gone unnoticed. To make sure this is a smooth Monday, October 2, 2023 to homeowners and tenants. Office hours are Monday through Friday,

Olivia Cortez and Samantha Soogian.

FROM SAMANTHA SOOGIAN "My work life with CHBIOA started in 2017 when I was hired as an Administrative Floater, a job which quickly transitioned into Administrative Assistant. In 2019, I was promoted to Senior Administrative Assistant, working with five managers. In 2021, I was the Interim Manager for two associations while still carrying out the duties of Senior Administrative Assistant. Now, I will happily continue to serve the Community as an Association Manager. I was raised in Alameda and grew up in the Garden Isle Homeowners Association. Currently, I reside in Alameda with my fantastic husband and three beautiful children. In my spare time, I enjoy being around friends and family, coaching girls’ softball, being crafty, and exploring. I look forward to taking on my new role as Association Manager. If you see me in the area, please say Hi!"
