There is a $5 fee for an additional card for a family member or for a replacement card if lost. To comply with the bylaws, new friends who wish to become members must reside in the Community of Harbor Bay Isle (CHBI). ensures continuance of our IC activities. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact the current board members. The election will be held during the Christmas dinner on December 9th. Christmas Dinner – Saturday, December 9th, 6 PM, Pier 29 Waterfront Restaurant, 1148 Ballena Blvd., Alameda, CA 94501, 510-865-5088. Please invite your family to join in the celebration. There will be a lucky draw for members. The cost per person including tax and tips is $35 for members and $40 for non-members. Please RSVP to Vivian Chin starting Wednesday, November 1st, through Thursday, November 30th, with your entrée selection. Meal includes soup, salad, and coffee or tea. Entrée selection (choose 1): 1) Lamb Shank; 2) Salmon; 3) Scallops & Prawns Sauté; 4) Rib Eye Steak ($10 additional charge). PAST EVENTS On July 29th, 39 IC members and their friends enjoyed a lovely lunch at China Villa Restaurant. Thanks to your generosity, a total of $450 was raised for Alameda Food Bank at the luncheon.
