AssociationNews Bayview Harbor by Andrea Godoy, Association Manager H APPY HOLIDAYS BAYVIEW HARBOR NEIGHBORS from your Board of Directors and management. We wish you a happy and healthy new year! Bayview Harbor had their first summer picnic at the green belt. Thank you to all that came and enjoyed some pizza with your Board. We look forward to continue this get together and make it better every year! Reminder, if you are intending to do any repairs, renovations, or updates to the exterior of your homes, please remember to submit an architectural application to the Community Architectural Committee before starting any work. You can find all of the association’s architectural guidelines on the Harbor Bay website under the Architectural section and submit your application online too. SeeClickFix is a handy website where homeowners can report any City related maintenance issues. For example, trees in the curb strips belong to the City. If you notice a tree leaning or in need of maintenance, seeclickfix.com/ us-ca-alameda is the best way to open a work order and see any follow up comments or action taken by the City. Please remember to report any suspicious activity in your neighborhood, not only to the Alameda Police Department, 510-337-8340, but also to CHBIOA Security at 510-865-0417. For any association related questions or concerns, please contact management at 510-865-3363. Baywood Village by Andrea Godoy, Association Manager T HE BAYWOOD BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND management would like to wish you all a healthy holiday season and a happy and safe new year! New year means new parking tags. Please contact management to submit a new parking application for 2024. Renewal will require an annual garage inspection. Email your Association Manager at BWV@harborbay.org to set up a time and date for the inspection. Two vehicles must be parked in the garage. If one of the vehicles is too large, the permit may be used for that vehicle. A parking permit will not be issued if the garage is being used for

storage of a trailer, boat, or personal items that do not allow the parking of two vehicles in the garage. Professional Parking Enforcement is Baywood’s parking enforcement company. For guest parking, please call the Baywood Guest Parking line at 510-287-9200, or submit an online form on our website at harborbay. org/departments/request-overnight-parking. When calling in a vehicle, please provide your name, address, telephone number, vehicle make and model, license plate information, start date and end date. Parking enforcement will cite any vehicle that was not called in or registered online for guest parking, or does not have a current parking tag. If your vehicle has been towed, please call Specialty Towing at 510-796-8486. Baywood has been busy with balcony inspections to follow SB326. Inspections started in August, with a plan for repair as needed. Baywood has also selected a contractor for the Private Sewer Lateral project. All homeowners will receive a notice when your cul-de-sac will be worked on. There will be lots of signage to direct traffic as needed. More information to come once the vendor shares scheduled dates. We look forward to starting on the second quarter of 2024. Brittany Landing Bay by Sandy Olsen A S WE HEAD INTO THE FALL SEASON, I HOPE everyone had an enjoyable summer, especially the kids who had a break from the rigors of school. I enjoyed seeing them running around, riding scooters and bikes, playing in the pool and spa, and hearing their laughter. IMPORTANT PRIVATE SEWER LATERAL UPDATE Representatives from Express Sewer and Water Works Engineers are scheduled to be onsite in late September and early October for planning purposes and construction will begin soon afterward. Express Sewer will likely be us ing several guest parking places for staging areas.
