With crisp leaves, pumpkin-spiced moments, and the joy of harvest festivals on the horizon, we hope you create community connections as comforting as a hot cup of apple cider on a chilly evening. Bay Colony is pleased to announce a new addition to the website: The new Maintenance Work Order Request. This form makes it easier than ever to report any landscaping or maintenance issue you see to Management by submit ting a photo, an exact location of the issue, and a detailed description of the issue. With the days beginning to get shorter, it is a great time to check that all your exterior lights are working. You can easily fill out and submit this form on our website at harborbay.org/work-order-request or find it under 'Quick Links'. Bay Colony needs your help. There are currently no active committees for architecture, landscaping, or mainte nance. Would you like to see changes in your neighbor hood? Would you like to be the one who gets things done? Join the Bay Colony volunteer team. Please submit an email to Management at BYC@harborbay.org if this sounds like something you may be interested in. A friendly reminder to please respect the parking rules, Bay Colony. There have been a lot of issues with cars park ing in non-designated parking areas including in fire lanes and even in front of fire hydrants! Please be aware of the parking designations and if you do happen to be parked in front of a fire hydrant, your car may be towed without notice. Please review the Bay Colony Rules & Regulations for more information. Monthly Board of Directors meetings are still available in hybrid format, meaning that homeowners have the option of attending meetings in-person at the Community Center, 3195 Mecartney Road, or attending meetings remotely via RingCentral. We encourage all homeowners to attend our Bay Colony monthly Board of Directors meetings to stay up-to-date on current events. Bay Colony meets every third Thursday of the month at 6:00 PM. Fall meeting dates are scheduled October 19th and November 16th this year. There is no December

meeting currently scheduled. These meeting dates are subject to change. Check the calendar at harborbay.org/ calendar for meeting dates, times, agendas and other information related to the meetings. Together we wish you a safe and happy holiday season and a happy new year! A friendly reminder to all homeowners to please keep the sidewalks clear from any vehicles parking outside of their garage. Pedestrian and wheelchair access is needed at all times. On an architectural note, all proposed changes to outdoor structures require the submission and approval of an architectural application and plans prior to the commencement of property improvement work. You may submit an architectural application online at our website at harborbay.org/archapp, or you are welcome to pick up a hard copy at our community offices located at 3195 Mecartney Road. To all homeowners that own and use temporary basketball standards, please note as stated in our architectural guidelines, these shall be free standing from any residential building, fence, or other permanent structure, and must meet the following requirements: 1. Temporary and portable in their use and location; 2. Stored out of view from public ways or neighboring properties; 3. Used only during daylight hours, and stored when not in use; 4. Used only in driveways, auto courts (shared driveways), or on the auto side of the house, except standards for children no higher than 5 feet may be used in back yards; 5. Used without any additional artificial lights; 6. Used so as not to create a nuisance for any neighbor or other resident. Have a safe and wonderful holiday season!
