Woodbridge by Diana Torres, Association Manager A THRIVING COMMUNITY DEPENDS ON THE involvement and cooperation of its residents. Whether through volunteering to serve on the Board, being mindful of parking needs, or maintaining our properties, each of us plays an important role in preserving the quality of life that makes Woodbridge a wonderful place to call home. The following reminders highlight a few ways homeowners can help support our neighborhood, stay informed, and contribute to a safe, attractive, and welcoming community for all. SERVING ON THE BOARD We strongly encourage all homeowners to consider getting involved. Serving on the Board is a rewarding way to help shape the future of our community and ensure Woodbridge remains a great place to live. Board meetings are held every other month on the fourth Thursday, and all homeowners are encouraged to attend and stay informed about community matters. These meetings provide a valuable opportunity to learn about current projects, share ideas and feedback, and connect with neighbors who are working to enhance and preserve our community. PARKING REMINDERS Parking can sometimes be limited in certain areas of our neighborhood. To help ease congestion and ensure everyone has fair access to available spaces, we ask homeowners to please keep the following in mind: • Use driveways whenever possible. If your home has a driveway, we encourage you to make it your primary parking location. This helps preserve street parking for guests and neighbors who may have fewer parking options. • Be mindful of infrequently used vehicles. If you own vehicles that are not driven regularly, please consider parking them in areas where more spaces are available rather than on heavily impacted streets. • Keep vehicles in compliance. All vehicles parked within the community should be properly registered and operational. This helps maintain safety, fairness, and the overall appearance of the neighborhood.
contact Harbor Bay Security at (510) 865-0417. Prompt reporting helps maintain the safety and security of our neighborhood and allows security personnel to respond appropriately. A second, more serious recent incident involved the theft of a catalytic converter from a vehicle parked in the driveway of a Seastrand homeowner. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this type of theft has occurred in our neighborhood. If you observe suspicious activity, unfamiliar vehicles lingering in the area, or unusual behavior around parked cars, please do not hesitate to contact Harbor Bay Security. Staying alert and reporting concerns promptly can help deter crime and protect our community. Looking out for one another is one of the strengths of Seastrand, and together we can help keep our neighborhood safe. FLOCK CAMERA INSTALLATION The Community of Harbor Bay recently shared the one year results of the FLOCK license plate reader installation, showing a significant decrease in police and Harbor Bay Security calls in areas where cameras have been installed. The report also recommends adding two additional cameras along Sea View Parkway. The Seastrand Board will review this recommendation at the next meeting, and homeowners are encouraged to share their feedback and thoughts. LANDSCAPING Spring brings new growth, including plants, bushes, and weeds. While we are fortunate to enjoy beautiful views from our backyards, our yards are also visible to passersby. Please help keep your front and backyards as well-maintained as the views we enjoy. The Board will be conducting periodic inspections to ensure compliance with landscaping guidelines, and citations may be issued for properties not in compliance. If you have questions, concerns, or suggestions, please contact Association Manager Diana Torres at SEA@ harborbay.org. We appreciate your cooperation in helping maintain the beauty of our community.
