review the Pelican Bay Architectural Rules and Standards before making updates. Please keep landscaping choices tasteful and in line with community guidelines. When in doubt, simply apply for review. MAILBOXES Many mailboxes and mailbox posts throughout Pelican Bay are in need of repair, repainting, or replacement. Please remember that any new mailbox or mailbox post must match the original community design or be an approved locking mailbox model. Approval is required prior to commencing any replacement work, and homeowners must submit an Architectural Application for review. Before beginning any mailbox-related project, please review the Pelican Architectural Rules and Guidelines for approved styles and installation requirements. PATHWAY PROJECT Our community asphalt pathway project was completed this spring; with only a few final touch-up items remaining. The updated paths throughout the Pelican Bay greenbelt and park areas are now safer and more enjoyable for bike riders, runners, and walkers of all ages. In our next quarterly newsletter, we plan to cover community parking and vehicle rules, along with other helpful homeowner topics. We also welcome suggestions from residents on what you would like to see featured. Pelican Bay continues to grow as a friendly and welcoming community thanks to the support of our homeowners, volunteers, committees, and board members who generously give their time and effort. Board meetings are held bi-monthly on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:00 PM. Homeowners are encouraged to attend in person or via Ring Central. Please contact our Association Manager, Diana, with any questions. PARK MERRY-GO-ROUND If you’ve visited the park recently, you may have noticed some exciting updates. The picnic tables have been refreshed with new wood, and the vintage Merry-Go Round has been professionally repainted. The Panda, Squirrel, Skunk, and Turtle have been restored to their original charm for children and families
to enjoy for years to come. This restoration was made possible after our Association Manager, Diana, connected with Urban Painting at a conference and shared the story of our community Merry Go-Round. Inspired by its history, they generously offered to complete the restoration at no cost to the HOA. The Board extends a special thank you to David Urban and his team—Adrian De La Cruz and Martin Flores—for their generosity, craftsmanship, and dedication. Be sure to visit and see the improvements for yourself!
