Clipper Cove by Nancie Shelden, Board Secretary S UMMER HAS ARRIVED AND WE HOPE THAT everyone is enjoying spending time outside with the longer days and warmer weather, and that you are able to find time to walk around our lovely lagoons and neighborhood. ANNUAL DINNER MEETING Our Annual Dinner Meeting was held on May 12 and was well attended by residents. Thank you to everyone who joined us and took the opportunity to spend time with neighbors and meet new members of the community. Dinner and door prizes were provided, making for an enjoyable and informative evening. Board President Steve Atkinson welcomed attendees and provided an overview of the Board’s accomplishments and priorities for the year. Harbor Bay Security shared updates on recent incidents in Clipper Cove and throughout Harbor Bay Isle, while Village 1 Representative Gary Hoffer provided information on several community wide initiatives, including the FLOCK camera system and the status of proposed changes to the shopping center at The Landing. Dana Duncan, our PAC/CAC (Project and Community Architectural Committee) representative, reviewed the architectural application process and reminded homeowners that approval is required before making any exterior modifications to their homes. This includes projects such as roof replacements, window installations, exterior painting, and landscape changes in both front and rear yards. Homeowners are encouraged to submit applications well in advance, as the review process can take several weeks. Projects requiring exceptions to established rules must be reviewed and approved by the Clipper Cove Board. Special requirements also apply to paint color exceptions, so homeowners should contact Association Manager Samantha Soogian for guidance before proceeding. Representatives from Terra Landscaping provided an update on the work being performed throughout Clipper Cove. Current efforts are focused on improving irrigation system efficiency and reducing overall water consumption. Residents who notice irrigation leaks, broken pipes, or other landscape-related concerns are

encouraged to contact Samantha Soogian at (510) 865 3363, ext. 358, or by email at CCV@harborbay.org so that the issue can be reported to Terra for prompt attention. Residents are also invited to participate in the monthly landscape walks conducted with Terra Landscaping. These walks take place on the last Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. and begin at the park located at the end of Crane Court. We welcome all interested homeowners to join us and learn more about the ongoing efforts to maintain and improve our community landscaping. PREFERRED COMMUNICATION METHOD If you would like to receive community communications by email and are not currently enrolled, please complete and submit the Email Consent Form. The form can be found in the upper right-hand corner of the Harbor Bay website, harborbay.org. NEW BOARD MEMBER We are pleased to announce that our open Board position has been filled!
