Whether you have concerns, brilliant ideas, or simply want to connect with your fellow neighbors, these meetings are open for you. Your presence and input make a difference, shaping the direction of Pelican Bay. Here's to a year of growth, collaboration, and shared successes. Looking forward to meeting you at our upcoming events and board meetings! Seastrand by Rick Harkins, Board President T HE SEASTRAND COMMUNITY LOST A DEAR FRIEND in December, Bob Gold. Bob and Crystal were original Seastrand homeowners, and have lived in Harbor Bay for 35 years. Bob served on the Seastrand Board of Directors for many years and always provided valuable insights in how to maintain and improve the quality of our unique and beautiful homes. We extend our deepest condolences to Crystal and their son, Chris, and his family. Bob will be missed by us all. RETAINING WALL The Board is currently reviewing bids to repair two areas of the retaining wall that need immediate attention. After these areas are repaired we will address the remainder of the wall and will keep all homeowners updated. SHORELINE EROSION There are two sites along the shoreline, behind the Seastrand homes, that have undergone severe erosion.

We have contacted the City of Alameda Public Works Department and they are aware of the two sites. They have put up barriers to alert pedestrians and bikers, and have developed a plan for filling in the areas. The City is also involved in developing a much larger long term plan for restoring the Harbor Bay Shoreline (Bay Farm Adaption Project). ARCHITECTURAL APPLICATIONS Please remember to submit an architectural application prior to initiating any exterior home modification or landscaping project. The application is available online at harborbay.org/archapp. If you have any questions please contact architecture@harborbay.org or one of our PAC members, Ron Matthews or Benn Ackley; they are valuable resources for planning your next home project. Woodbridge by Andrea Godoy, Association Manager T HE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND MANAGEMENT would like to wish you a healthy and happy New Year! The Woodbridge Board of Directors would like to thank all homeowners for your patience with the repair of the landscape controller near Waterford Drive. The irrigation controller stopped working and new electrical conduit was required to get the controller back and running again. Thank you to Terra Landscape and Illumination Management for working together to get this irrigation controller back up and running again! The drought restrictions have been lifted, and letters to homeowners have started to go out again. Thank you for your prompt responsiveness with plans to re-seed or renovate front lawns as needed. If you plan on painting or doing any exterior work, please submit an architectural application on our website harborbay.org/archapp. If you have any architectural questions please contact architecture@harborbay.org. For all other inquiries, you may reach your manager at WDB@harborbay.org Best wishes!
